How do I use Qualifying Events in Benefits Connect?

theanswer Click on “Benefit Plan Information”, then “Benefit Plan Enrollment”.  Choose the benefit that should be changed, clicking on the radio button as if to make an election.  A pop-up window will appear, providing you with a list of Qualified Events.  Click “OK” on the pop up window There will be a drop down menu with the Qualified Event options to choose from.  Select the appropriate option from the list, and enter the qualifying date.  Click “Continue” when finished to be brought back to the Benefit Plan Enrollment screen.
